 Nourish your soul with a powerful Afro-reggae album infused with indigenous Namibian music in the Oshivambo tradition.This is the fourth album from acclaimed reggae artist Ras Sheehama, one of the most successful contemporary Namibian musicians. A combination of modern and classical recording techniques were used to give the album a timeless feel. Midnight has a baseline derived from the '70s disco era. Inotila a traditional African track was given a Country & Western treatment, while a strong Spanish flavour can be heard on I Never. All of these diverse influences make this a truly global album. Sheehama has performed in Germany, England, Cuba, Portugal and other international stages. In 2001 he opened for the legendary reggae act Don Carlos in Johannesburg. He was recently in Paris to promote A Handful of Namibians & Papa Wemba. The album will also be featured on all Namibian radio stations and television, including a live show at the end of April 2005.
