3rd Generation Azumah Cultural Group was formed in 2004, consisting of Themba Hlope, Thulani Tshabalala & Thokozan Ziqubu. Azumah is a swahili word meaning Love, Peace and Happiness.

This Prestigious bandfirst started by playing marimba instrumental tracks and later included percussionists, vocalist and dancers. The band has successfully toured the world and freelanced with various marimba bands such as Afrida Marimba Band, Akwaaba Marimba Band Six Mabone Marimba Band, Bayeza Cultural Group and Amasiko Marimba Band and performs at corporate gigs, on big stages, in renowned musicals such as Ipi Tombi and as honoures guest's at various international and local festivals and events
